Maharashtra Polls: What Supriya Sule Said On Reuniting With Cousin Ajit Pawar



Supriya Sule, working president of the NCP (SP), stated in an exclusive interview that political reconciliation with her cousin Ajit Pawar is unlikely as long as he is associated with the BJP. She also clarified that she is not aspiring to be the CM if the MVA is voted to power. Sule expressed confidence in the MVA doing well in the upcoming state assembly polls and emphasized the importance of serving the nation through good policy work. She discussed the challenges faced by the party after the split caused by Ajit Pawar’s alignment with the BJP. Sule also addressed the delay in finalizing seat-sharing arrangements among MVA allies and highlighted the importance of fair elections in Baramati. She emphasized the need for an honest, stable, and progressive government to address issues like unemployment, corruption, and inflation.
