This week, Melody Farris, the wife of a prominent Georgia attorney, was found guilty of his murder more than six years after his body was discovered in a burn pit. She was convicted of malice murder, felony murder, aggravated assault, concealing the death of another, and making a false statement. Prosecutors argued that Farris was the only one with a motive and opportunity to kill her husband. Despite trying to blame her son for the crime, he denied any involvement. It was revealed that Farris had an affair and marital issues with her husband. Farris is scheduled for sentencing in December.
