Indian Railways Rolls Out 500+ Special Trains to Handle Chhath Puja Rush

Indian Railways has arranged for over 500 special trains to handle the return rush of travelers after Chhath Puja, with 164 special trains available on November 8 and additional services planned for November 9, 10, and 11. In the last 36 days, 4,521 special trains have carried 65 lakh passengers. The Railway Board is working to accommodate the high passenger flow during the festive period and has operated a record number of trains to ensure smooth travel during Durga Puja, Diwali, and Chhath Puja celebrations. This substantial expansion of special trains aims to meet the increased travel demand during the festival season.
