Air India and Vistara are merging on November 12, 2024, and Vistara passengers will now fly under Air India’s brand. The flights will have special Air India codes starting with “2” to help customers recognize them. Despite the merger, Vistara’s in-flight experience will remain the same. Air India is introducing measures to make the transition smooth, including help desks at airports, customer support staff, and clear directions for check-in. Loyalty benefits will be migrated to Air India’s program, offering customers more benefits and connections. Air India’s fleet is also being upgraded for a premium flying experience. The goal is to provide a seamless, world-class experience while retaining the best of Vistara.
