The Minister of Transport in Pathanamthitta announced a new system for booking KSRTC tickets along with virtual queue reservations for Sabarimala devotees. Groups of at least 40 people can book seats in advance, and buses will pick up passengers within 10 km of the station. A Fastag system will be introduced at the Nilakkal toll, and a large number of buses will be in service during the Mandala season. Various officials were present at the meeting to review preparations, including the MLA, Collector, ADM, District Panchayat President, and District Police Chief. Reflectors will be installed in dangerous areas for safety, and awareness videos will be made for drivers.
