The Delhi-Mumbai Expressway’s elevated section will soon open to the public, running through congested areas along the Yamuna riverbank. The six-lane highway and two bridges are ready for commissioning, which will help alleviate traffic jams on Mathura Road. According to South Delhi MP Ramvir Singh Bidhuri, these developments cost Rs 5,500 crore and will provide a quicker route to Faridabad, Palwal, and Sohna. The new infrastructure will significantly reduce commute times and provide a permanent solution to traffic congestion in the area.
