17-year-old Kasaragod YouTuber electrocuted while drying clothes on terrace

A tragic incident in Kasaragod resulted in the electrocution of a 17-year-old girl, Fathima Ishana, while she was hanging washed clothes on the terrace. Her mother, Havvamma, also suffered an electric shock while trying to save her daughter. Ishana, who dropped out of school, was known for posting fun videos on YouTube. The family had recently moved to a new rented house, which lacked proper permits and was dangerously close to live power cables. The panchayat had approved funds for the family to build a new house, but the owner had not taken steps to reroute the power lines. Ishana leaves behind her parents and four siblings.
