Donald Trump becomes second U.S. President to win two non-consecutive terms after Grover Cleveland

Donald Trump was elected as the 47th president of the United States, defeating Kamala Harris. He is only the second president in U.S. history to serve non-consecutive terms, with Grover Cleveland being the first. Other U.S. presidents who served consecutive terms include George Washington, Thomas Jefferson, and Franklin Roosevelt.
