The Leader of the Opposition, V.D. Satheesan, has accused Minister for Local Administration M.B. Rajesh of orchestrating the police raid on Congress leaders’ rooms with the help of his brother-in-law and a caucus in the Chief Minister’s office. Satheesan demanded Rajesh’s immediate resignation, calling the raid a CPI(M)-BJP conspiracy to aid BJP State president K. Surendran. He criticized the Kerala Police for their role in the incident, stating that they appeared as “the biggest group of slaves.” Satheesan suggested that those looking for a money box should check Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan’s room instead of Congress leaders’ rooms.
