Delhi Metro’s Digital Locker Service Sees 300% Rise In Usage; How To Use It?

The Delhi Metro Railway Corporation (DMRC) has introduced a digital locker service, known as Smart Box, at metro stations to securely store valuables for a short period. This service has seen a 300% increase in usage since its launch in January 2024, with over 228 metro stations offering this facility. Passengers, especially students and travelers, can use these lockers to store items like mobile phones and laptops while commuting. The lockers can be accessed through the Momentum 2.0 mobile app, making it a convenient and secure option for commuters. DMRC plans to expand this service to more metro stations to meet the growing demand for secure storage options.
