Pakistani guard shoots, wound 2 Chinese working in a textile mill in Karachi



Two Chinese nationals were shot and wounded by a Pakistani guard at a textile mill in Karachi, but officials say it was not related to militant violence. China has been demanding better security for its nationals in Pakistan, especially those working on the Belt and Road Initiative. The guard has been arrested and an investigation is ongoing. The wounded Chinese have been taken to the hospital. Pakistan has assured that it will provide full security to Chinese workers in the country.
