Woman arrested on charge of job fraud

A woman named Shiny Mathew was arrested by the Muvattupuzha police for scamming job-seekers by offering them fake work visas. She allegedly cheated two people out of over ₹6 lakh by promising them jobs in Germany and Singapore. She posed as a recruitment firm in Muvattupuzha, but it was found that the firm did not have the proper license for overseas recruitment.
