Youth held on charge of defrauding girl promising MBBS seat in Georgia

The Eravipuram police arrested a man for defrauding a girl of ₹10 lakh by promising her an MBBS admission. The accused, Sherin, was caught in Delhi while trying to flee the country. He had promised the victim a seat in his college in Georgia and collected the money in instalments. A case was registered after a complaint was filed, and a lookout notice was issued. The police team caught the accused at the Delhi airport. Sherin, a 25-year-old MBBS student, is now facing charges for his fraudulent actions.
