The Lokayukta police have summoned Karnataka Chief Minister Siddaramaiah for questioning in connection with the MUDA site allotment case. He is accused of irregularities in allocating 14 sites to his wife. Siddaramaiah, his wife, brother-in-law, and another individual are all named in the FIR. The Chief Minister had previously submitted an appeal to the High Court challenging the investigation into the case. Parvathi has requested MUDA to cancel the allotment of her 14 sites. The Enforcement Directorate has initiated action against Siddaramaiah and others. The case involves allegations of compensatory plots being allotted to Parvathi in exchange for land in an upscale area of Mysuru.
