Australia edge out Pakistan by two wickets in thriller



Australia won a close match against Pakistan in the first ODI at the Melbourne Cricket Ground. Chasing a target of 204 runs, Australia had a tough time against Pakistan’s bowling attack but managed to secure a victory and take a 1-0 lead in the series. Despite losing early wickets, a strong partnership between Steve Smith and Josh Inglis put Australia in a good position. Pakistani bowlers Haris Rauf and Shaheen Afridi took wickets, but Australian captain Pat Cummins played a crucial innings to guide his team to victory.
