Caleb Williams tweaks ankle on final play of Bears’ loss to Cards



Courtney Cronin is a sports journalist who covers the Chicago Bears for ESPN. She reported on rookie quarterback Caleb Williams injuring his ankle in a game against the Arizona Cardinals but luckily, it doesn’t seem to be serious. Williams mentioned how he got hurt and Coach Matt Eberflus confirmed that he seemed okay after the game. Despite the Bears losing by a large margin, Williams stayed in to work on the offense’s two-minute operation. Williams expressed that it wasn’t his decision to stay in the game. The Bears struggled offensively in the game, failing to score a touchdown, and Eberflus took responsibility for the team’s issues and vowed to work on improving their performance.
