Florida murderess who accepted plea deal in killer clown cold case released from prison

Sheila Keen-Warren, the woman who dressed as a clown and murdered Marlene Warren in 1990, has been released from prison after serving 18 months following a guilty plea. Despite maintaining her innocence, retested DNA evidence in 2014 connected her to the crime scene. Keen-Warren went on to marry the victim’s husband, Michael Warren, whom she worked for. Witnesses suspected an affair between them at the time of the murder. Michael was initially a suspect but was never convicted. The victim’s son and friends were present during the shooting and claimed a person dressed as a clown delivered the fatal blow.
