Several projects planned under the ‘Green Muscat’ initiative

The Muscat Governorate in Oman is celebrating Agriculture Day with the launch of several environmental initiatives under the ‘Green Muscat’ program. Over 4,000 seedlings have been distributed across the area, adding to the existing green spaces. New parks like Fins Beach Park in Quriyyat and Nahda City Park in Amerat are offering recreational areas with modern facilities. Plans are also in place for Al Saleel Natural Park in Quriyyat, which will provide camping areas, sports amenities, and walking paths. The municipality is also working on developing walkways and public spaces to promote physical activity and support local businesses.
