The synthetic track at Maharaja’s College Stadium has finally been renovated after ten years, just in time for the Kerala State School Games. General Education Minister V. Sivankutty and Mayor M. Anilkumar attended the opening ceremony on November 4. The stadium will host various athletics events for different age groups, with around 24,000 athletes participating in the eight-day event. Elaborate arrangements have been made, including providing three meals daily for over 20,000 people at 12 different locations. It’s a great opportunity for young athletes to showcase their talents on this newly renovated stage.
