Kannada filmmaker Guruprasad found dead in Bengaluru flat, suicide suspected

Kannada filmmaker Guruprasad was found dead in his flat near Bengaluru in a suspected case of suicide. The body was in a decomposed state and found hanging from a ceiling fan. Neighbours had alerted the police due to a foul smell coming from the house. Police suspect financial stress may have been a factor. Guruprasad was known for his films ‘Mata’ and ‘Yeddelu Manjunatha’. The case has been registered, and an investigation is underway.
