Two Delhi traffic police personnel dragged for 20 metres in hit-and-run incident



In a disturbing incident in southwest Delhi, two traffic police officers were hit and dragged by a car while on duty. The officers, ASI Pramod and Head Constable Sailesh, were conducting routine traffic challans when a vehicle jumped the red light and attempted to flee, dragging them for about 20 meters. Fortunately, both officers are in stable condition with minor injuries. The police have registered a case of attempt to murder and obstruction in the discharge of official duty against the driver. The vehicle owner has been identified and will be arrested soon.
