In Salalah, seven restaurants and eight other businesses, including barber shops, were recently closed for not following health regulations. The Health Control Section is monitoring different activities to ensure people’s safety. The restaurants were shut down for various violations like improper food storage and using workers’ housing to store food and meat. Samples of food and water were taken for testing to make sure they meet standard specifications. It’s important for businesses to follow health requirements to protect the health of their customers.
