Seven Malayali youths were cheated, physically and mentally tortured, and forced to scam elderly people in Cambodia. They were promised jobs in Thailand but ended up as cyber slaves in a scamming racket run by Chinese companies. After enduring days of torture, they managed to escape and return to Kerala, where they shared their ordeal with the media. One member of the group is still in Cambodia, raising concerns about his safety. The Kerala State Government and Norka ensured the safe return of the seven youths. They have filed complaints with the police and are grateful to be back home.
