Snatched funerals of Polavaram-displaced

The Polavaram irrigation project has displaced the Koyas, Konda Reddi tribes, and Dalits along the Godavari coast, leaving them without designated burial grounds. As a result, they are being forced to bury their loved ones in farmlands and abandoned places, going against their traditions. This has caused great distress and disruption to their way of life.
