Kemi Badenoch becomes first Black woman to lead UK Conservatives

Kemi Badenoch, a Black woman, has become the new leader of the Conservative Party in the UK. She won on a platform of returning the party to its founding principles and challenging left-wing thinking. Badenoch is focused on defending free speech, free enterprise, and free markets. Despite her race, she prefers not to focus on it, wanting it to be as insignificant as hair or eye color. Some Black voters in London are curious about her leadership and want her to be proud of her Blackness. Badenoch is determined to tackle the party’s issues head-on and lead them back to power in the next election.
