In thrall to Oman’s warmth

Wilfried and Gisela Hofmann, a German couple, embarked on a biking journey around the world in 2007 seeking authentic experiences and connections. Oman captivated their hearts with its rich culture, diverse scenery, and warm hospitality. They returned 15 times, enchanted by the openness and generosity of the Omani people. Picnicking with locals and joining in celebrations became a way to forge lasting friendships. Biking through challenging terrains and camping in stunning landscapes allowed them to bond with nature and the community. Their experiences are chronicled in books, highlighting their deep connection with Oman. The couple remains enchanted by Oman’s beauty and eagerly anticipates their next visit.
