2 Coimbatore natives drown in Pathanamthitta’s Kallada river



In a tragic incident in Pathanamthitta, two individuals from Tamil Nadu, Mohammed Swolin and Ajmal, drowned in the Kallada river near Enath. The incident happened when a group of 13 people from Coimbatore, on their way to Thiruvananthapuram, went for a swim in the river despite warnings from local residents about the deep waters. The Adoor Fire and Rescue Service recovered the bodies near Kolassery bathing ghat after a search in strong currents. The parents of the deceased were also part of the group. The bodies will be handed over to the relatives after the autopsy.
