Suzuki and Toyota have collaborated in India to produce the Grand Vitara SUV and are planning to release a new battery electric vehicle by 2025. The partnership aims to address carbon neutrality and expand their presence in the global vehicle market. The new model, Maruti Suzuki EVX, will be manufactured at Suzuki Motor Gujarat starting in early 2025. Suzuki will supply the BEV SUV model to Toyota, marking the first BEV in their OEM relationship. The collaboration between the two companies started in 2016 and has expanded to various regions, including Japan, India, Europe, Africa, and the Middle East. Toyota and Suzuki are working together to provide customers with choices that contribute to a carbon-neutral society.
