Prime Minister Narendra Modi celebrated Diwali with military personnel at an inhospitable location in Kachchh, Gujarat. He has been spending Diwali with troops since 2014. PM Modi also extended Diwali greetings to the nation and honored Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel on National Unity Day. He attended a parade and air show by the Indian Air Force’s Suryakiran Aerobatic Team. Other top defense officials are also spending time with troops in different locations across the country. Defense Minister Rajnath Singh inaugurated statues virtually, while the Chiefs of Defence Staff and the Army, Navy, and Air Force are celebrating with troops in various regions.
