Andhra Pradesh govt appoints BR Naidu as new chairman of Tirupati temple board



BR Naidu, founder of TV5, has been appointed as the chairman of the TTD board in Andhra Pradesh, responsible for managing the Tirumala temple in Tirupati. The board includes various members from different backgrounds to ensure broad representation. Naidu expressed his gratitude for the appointment. The restructuring of the board comes after allegations of animal fat being used in the temple’s laddus, which led to a public controversy. The YSR Congress denied the accusations, leading to a CBI investigation ordered by the Supreme Court.
