BJP is trying to convince rebel candidates to withdraw in Maharashtra: Fadnavis

Maharashtra Deputy Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis stated that the BJP is working to convince rebel candidates to withdraw their nominations for the upcoming elections. He mentioned that in some cases, there may be friendly competition on voting day. Fadnavis also confirmed that the BJP and Shiv Sena are supporting Amit Thackeray, the son of MNS head Raj Thackeray, for the Mahim Assembly seat. He addressed allegations made by NCP chief Ajit Pawar against late Home Minister R.R. Patil, stating that it is not right to comment on someone who cannot respond.
