The Minister for Industries, P. Rajeeve, highlighted these developments at a Sectoral Meeting on Recycling, Waste Management, and Green Entrepreneurship. A recent study conducted by IIM Indore showed that MSMEs view the government as a supportive entity due to the industry-friendly policies. The Year of Enterprises initiative has led to the establishment of over 3 lakh enterprises in Kerala in the past year. Waste management and recycling present lucrative business opportunities, especially for green enterprises, and the government is prioritizing sustainable solutions in this sector.
