Delhi, Mumbai Wake Up To Layer Of Smog Ahead Of Diwali | Videos



New Delhi and Mumbai woke up to a thin layer of smog on Wednesday, a day before the Diwali celebrations. Delhi’s air quality was in the ‘Poor’ category while Mumbai’s was ‘Satisfactory’. Many areas in Delhi recorded AQI levels between 200 and 300, while Mumbai saw levels around 92. The Central Pollution Control Board data showed Delhi at 274 and Mumbai at 92. Some areas in both cities experienced reduced visibility due to the smog. The AQI levels in different areas of Delhi and Mumbai were also reported. An AQI between 0-50 is considered good, while anything above 300 is considered very poor or severe.
