UK stabbing suspect in deaths of 3 girls found with ricin, al Qaeda material and charged under Terrorism Act

An 18-year-old teenager in the UK has been charged with possessing an al Qaeda training manual and ricin poison in addition to already facing charges for the murder of three young girls at a Taylor Swift-themed dance class. The poison and PDF study were found during a search of his home. Tests confirmed the substance was ricin, but the risk of exposure to the public was low. The incident has not been declared a terror incident as authorities have not determined a motive. The teenager, Axel Rudakubana, faces numerous charges related to the slaying, including under the Terrorism Act, which does not require a motive to be established.
