Four held on charge of abducting and assaulting minors

Four individuals were arrested for abducting and assaulting three minor boys from Valayanchirangara. The suspects allegedly took the boys at knifepoint, stole a motorcycle, and transported them to a deserted building where they were assaulted and had their phones confiscated. The incident was reportedly a retaliation for one of the boys not repaying a loan. The arrest was made by a special police team led by District Police Chief (Ernakulam Rural) Vaibhav Saxena on October 28, 2024.
