‘Will Chop Them Up…’: Mithun Chakraborty Slams Mamata On TMC Leader’s Threat

Actor-turned-politician Mithun Chakraborty responded to a controversial statement made by a Trinamool Congress leader, calling for violence against rival party workers. He stated that BJP workers should “chop them up and bury them underground” in response to the leader’s threatening remarks. Chakraborty also vowed that the BJP would win the 2026 Assembly elections in West Bengal and ensure the throne belongs to the party. The Trinamool Congress criticized Chakraborty’s comments, accusing him of inciting violence. Chakraborty made these statements in the presence of Union Home Minister Amit Shah, who felicitated him at an event.
