PM Modi, Spain’s Sanchez Hold Roadshow In Gujarat’s Vadodara, Unveil TATA Aircraft Complex



Prime Minister Modi and Spain’s Pedro Sanchez held a roadshow in Vadodara, Gujarat and inaugurated India’s first private military aircraft facility in the city. The roadshow stretched 2.5 km from the airport to the Tata Advanced Systems facility. They also jointly inaugurated the TATA Aircraft Complex for manufacturing C-295 aircraft. Sanchez arrived in Vadodara for his maiden official visit to India and will visit Mumbai before returning to Spain. The facility in Vadodara will produce 40 aircraft as part of the agreement, with Airbus delivering 16 directly. The facility marks the first private sector final assembly line for military aircraft in India.
