Dairy farmers’ meet held   – The Hindu

The government is working with dairy cooperatives to ensure the State has enough milk for its needs, according to Minister J. Chinchurani. The goal is to increase domestic milk production by collaborating with various organizations. Despite challenges like climate change affecting milk production, efforts are being made to support dairy farmers and achieve self-sufficiency. Last year, Kerala saw record sales of milk and curd. At a recent dairy farmers’ meet, Finance Minister K.N. Balagopal honored those who have contributed to the sector’s development. The event was attended by officials, dairy farmers, and local leaders.
