Harris’ polling in NYC is lowest in decades for Democratic nominee: NYT poll

A recent poll conducted by the New York Times/Siena College shows Vice President Harris with the lowest numbers for a Democratic presidential nominee in decades. This comes just before former President Trump is set to hold a rally at Madison Square Garden to make a play for New York’s electoral college votes. The poll also highlights key issues for voters, such as the economy, immigration, and abortion. The city is facing various crises, including high rent prices and a migrant crisis, with Mayor Adams and Governor Hochul also facing challenges. Trump is aiming to gain ground with Black, Hispanic, and younger voters with his upcoming rally. The poll was conducted from Oct. 20 to Oct. 23 and shows a tie between Harris and Trump in a national poll.
