The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has released its second list of 22 candidates for the Maharashtra legislative assembly elections. The party has named a total of 121 candidates so far, with some changes in the second list. The party has also announced a list of 40 ‘star campaigners’ for the upcoming polls, including Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Home Minister Amit Shah. The elections in Maharashtra will take place on November 20, with the results being announced on November 23. The BJP is contesting 151 out of the 288 seats in the Maharashtra Assembly.
