Loco Pilot Stops Train After It Hits 6-Kg Piece Of Wood In UP In Suspected Sabotage, FIR Filed



A passenger train traveling between Delhi and Lucknow hit a two-foot-long piece of wood stuck in the tracks in Uttar Pradesh. The loco pilot successfully avoided a serious accident, but train operations were affected for two hours. Station masters issued warnings for both tracks, suspecting sabotage. The incident damaged a signaling device, impacting other train operations. An FIR has been filed, and authorities are investigating. This incident follows a similar one in Karnataka where stones were placed on tracks, posing a risk to passing trains.
