Tejasvi Surya, BJP National Youth President and MP, criticized Chief Minister Siddaramaiah for officials in Vijayapura district planning to include farmers’ lands in the Wakf Board without proof. Surya questioned if the government is trying to make Karnataka like Pakistan. He accused the government of favoring Muslims over Hindus and promised to help farmers facing issues with the Wakf board. Surya claimed the Congress has allowed the Wakf board to take land unlawfully and stated that the central government will amend the Wakf law to stop this. Farmers in Vijayapura district have sought Surya’s help in this matter.
