Maharashtra Assembly Election: Samajwadi Party Again Bares Fangs At MVA, Threatens To Go Solo



The main allies of the MVA in Maharashtra, including Congress, NCP (SP), and SS (UBT), are having prolonged discussions over seat sharing, causing frustration among smaller partners who want to nominate their candidates. The Maharashtra Samajwadi Party has given a day’s ultimatum to the MVA to make a decision on seat allocation, warning that they will contest independently if their share is not allotted. The three main allies have agreed on 255 seats and are still discussing the remaining 33 seats. As the nomination deadline approaches, smaller allies are eager to start their election campaigns.
