Congress draped in garb of communalism, BJP trying to promote the same, says Kerala CM 

Kerala Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan recently introduced U.R. Pradeep, the LDF candidate in the Chelakkara Assembly byelection, emphasizing the LDF’s firm stance against communal forces. He criticized both the Congress and the BJP for their soft approaches towards communalism. Vijayan highlighted the LDF’s commitment to combating communalism and credited their stance for the absence of communal strife in Kerala. He also discussed the BJP’s promotion of communalism and the Congress’ struggles due to their soft Hindutva stance. Vijayan clarified his recent remarks on Malappuram district, stating they were misinterpreted and should not be associated with any particular religion. He expressed concerns over the lack of support for Wayanad from the Central government.
