NBA player James Wiseman of the Indiana Pacers has unfortunately torn his left Achilles tendon, as confirmed by an MRI. The team and Wiseman are working together to determine the best treatment options. Wiseman sustained the injury during the season opener against the Detroit Pistons. He had recently signed a two-year contract with the Pacers after playing for the Pistons last season. Wiseman was originally drafted by the Golden State Warriors in 2020 and was later traded to Detroit in 2023.
