The Congress party has announced Gulab Singh Rajput as its candidate for the upcoming by-election in Vav constituency, Gujarat. Both the ruling Bharatiya Janata Party and Congress are optimistic about winning the seat. The Election Commission has scheduled bypolls for 48 Assembly and two Lok Sabha seats, with most voting taking place on November 13 and results being announced on November 23.
