Starting from October 27, Jaipur Airport’s Terminal-1 will be dedicated to serving international flights, while Terminal-2 will cater to domestic passengers. The new terminal has been revamped with a heritage aesthetic and will offer amenities like a medical room, 24-hour ambulance service, and passenger lounges. With an annual capacity of 15 lakh passengers, Terminal-1 will have around 100 security personnel for checks, 10 immigration counters in the departure area, and 14 in the arrival area. The inaugural flight on October 27 will be an Etihad Airways flight from Abu Dhabi. This new terminal is set to improve air connectivity in Rajasthan and make travel more convenient for passengers.
