A 14-year-old suspect named Colt Gray has pleaded not guilty and is now requesting a jury trial for the mass shooting at Apalachee High School in Georgia. He was indicted on 55 counts as an adult, including murder and aggravated assault. His father, Colin Gray, was also indicted for purchasing the firearm used in the shooting. Both are facing multiple charges, including cruelty to children. The shooting resulted in the deaths of four individuals and the injury of nine others. Colt Gray is currently in juvenile detention, while his father is in jail. They have not sought bail. If convicted, Colt Gray could face life in prison.
