Bengaluru building collapse: Owner, his son on the run, say police | Bengaluru News

The owner of the collapsed building, Muniraju Reddy, and his son Mohan Reddy are currently on the run, according to the police. An FIR has been filed against them based on a complaint from a relative of one of the deceased. The Reddys, originally from Andhra Pradesh, are being actively sought by the police. The case has been registered under various laws including culpable homicide not amounting to murder. The building collapse resulted in five deaths and five injuries during heavy rains in Bengaluru’s Babusapalya.
