Special Chief Secretary begins probe into diarrhoea deaths in Vizianagaram district

Special Chief Secretary K. Vijayanand and Collector B.R. Ambedkar visited Gurla in Vizianagaram district to investigate the outbreak of diarrhoea and deaths in the area. They interacted with patients, inspected the water scheme, and spoke to officials from various departments. This visit was important due to opposition parties raising concerns about the situation. The parties claimed that despite government assurances, the diarrhoea had spread to nearby villages as well.
